This month, the RLSP joined forces with OCU Hornbill and Ystalyfera-Bro Dur school to inspire the next generation of engineers. The collaborative event aimed to showcase the importance of engineering in today's world and spark interest among young learners.
Learners had the opportunity to hear from industry experts about the role that engineering plays in our society. The session highlighted the various career paths within engineering and the impact engineers have on our daily lives. They were also introduced to the new website, ‘Explore Engineering,’ where they can delve deeper into the world of engineering, access valuable resources, and discover exciting opportunities in the field.
Following the expert talks, the learners were given a hands-on experience in the workshops. They had the chance to try out different tools and get a feel for the engineering process.
