Following the success of last year's school work experience project, the Skills and Talent Team launched an exciting new initiative aimed at engaging with parents and students across the region. The team visited parents' evenings at local comprehensive schools, where they were welcomed by both schools and families.
During the visits, the team actively chatted with parents and pupils, informing them about the numerous exciting opportunities available in the region, sharing information about upcoming initiatives, such as the promising developments in the Celtic Sea.
The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the various opportunities on offer and encourage students to explore and take advantage of these developments and stay in our region. The Team will continuing to collaborate with local schools to ensure that the message of exciting opportunities on our doorstep reach as many people as possible.
