Low Carbon Net Zero Awareness Raising Project Achieves Outstanding Success

Cyfle, a leader in providing building skills and apprenticeships in Carmarthenshire, has successfully completed the Low Carbon Net Zero Awareness Raising project, funded by the Skills and Talent Fund. This initiative has made significant strides in promoting zero and low carbon technologies within the construction sector across the region.
The project, closely linked to several City Deal projects, aimed to address the urgent need for carbon reduction in the construction industry. By delivering industry-relevant carbon reduction training, Cyfle has equipped individuals with the skills necessary to meet the growing demand for expertise in this critical area.
 
Key Achievements:
  • 1124 individuals gained additional skills.
  • 157 people were helped into apprenticeships.
  • 30 pupils engaged with additional skills.
  • 164 individuals supported into jobs.
Cyfle's collaboration with regional schools and colleges has been helpful in raising awareness with a new generation of skilled professionals ready to tackle the challenges of net zero and low carbon technologies.
